Speaking about Œ˜ symbol

Yesterday, while I visiting some news blogs I found in the “About this blog” section of Comando + Q blog, the briefly reference at symbol Œ˜.

Curiously, since I have my Macbook, never I asked to myself for the history of this new symbol, that I found for first time one day of 2006 July.

Seems which this is a simple symbol created for the Apple’s keyboards designed because, Steve Jobs, believe that the Apple logo, had been too used.
